Your AED Battery is essential for keeping your defibrillator rescue ready and charged ready to shock a victim of cardiac arrest.

To install your new battery simply insert the battery at the side of the ZOLL AED 3 device. You can choose to have your device perform either daily or weekly self-checks. This self-checks are incredibly important for ensuring all the vital aspects of your life-saving device are in working order and can alert you if anything requires your attention or needs replacing.

To prepare the unit for a rescue, simply attach the electrode pads and switch the device on. The audio and visual prompts will direct you through the life-saving treatment process.

At the end of your device’s battery life, a blank status indicator in the corner of the AED 3 will alert you that your device is not rescue ready and requires a new battery. Keeping a spare battery ready to go will mean that your device can always be used in an emergency situation to help a victim of cardiac arrest.
